So I sent it to them, paid about 80.00 plus shipping back and forth and upon examination I noticed they hadn't cracked it open at all. I had zero intention of using it in the studio but as a couch-ready sketchpad, conceptually, it was the best choice available when it was initially released. I sent my machine to them and asked them to open it up and fully test it-I didn't care about the cost-I just wanted it to ****ing work. I tried and tried and tried again to work with it, and after losing a few money-beats I said **** it and contacted them. I said it before and I'll say it again- Beat Thang is an EPIC FAILURE and I'm very glad their business tanked. File access within the machine was so convoluted and it didn't need to be. The concept was great-execution was complete ****, from the hardware to the OS. Trying to use your own samples was pretty much impossible. The hardware production runs were full of lemons that crashed frequently. They had good sounds i hear but their initial approach alienated alot of people but its sad to see so many delight in someones business failing.I am ECSTATIC that they failed as a business. They had a good run and the hardware was solid but the styling and the software on pc and the built in os seemed poor.
